Delete your account

Effective from

You can delete your tinyCCTV account yourself at any time, in the app on your phone or on the web. Deleting it is immediate and cannot be undone.

How to delete it

  1. Open tinyCCTV: the app on your phone, or app.tinycctv.com in a browser.
  2. Sign in with the account you want to delete.
  3. Tap the gear icon at the top to open Settings.
  4. At the bottom, choose Delete account…, type DELETE to confirm, and chooseDelete account.

If you cannot sign in any more, write to us through the contact formor at [email protected] from the e-mail address of the account, and we delete it for you within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your account: e-mail address, name, profile picture and sign-in.
  • Every device you added, with its stored user name and password, and its links shared with others.
  • Your settings, your plan and the tokens of your home screen widgets.
  • A Pro subscription paid by card on the web is cancelled.

What is kept

  • A keyed hash of your e-mail address (not the address itself) and the date your free trial ended, so that signing up again does not start a second trial.
  • Purchase records, kept by the payment provider (Stripe, Apple or Google) for as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to ten years.
  • Error reports and server logs, which are deleted automatically after 90 days at most.

A subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play is managed by the store: cancel it there as well, in your store account's subscriptions. Devices other people received from your shared links stay in their accounts. More in the Privacy Policy.
